Canon T3i (600D) adds commander flash, articulated LCD

Canon has a new upper entry-level camera, the T3i (600D).  Press release: http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/about_canon?pageKeyCode=pressreldetail&docId=0901e0248028433f

In addition to the articulated LCD, I thought it was great that Canon included a built-in commander flash.  Canonistas looking for a camera with built-in commander capability can now choose between the T3i, 60D and 7D.

  1. It is a really interesting offering, a small 60D with a lower price. :-)

  2. Indeed! I wonder if Nikon will add commander capability to the D5000 in response? Otherwise the T3i may offer significantly better value.
