However, I suspect that it will be way beyond my budget (as it is, the 24-70 is pushing it). As for the Tamron 24-70 VC I would have liked to get one if the price were lower. Meanwhile what do you think of the Tamron 28-75? I used to have it on my D80 and it performed well. I hope that Nikon someday releases a VR version of their 24-70.
