There was this game I played with my brother and a friend, we used a single Canon speedlite, a single subject, in a single room with 4 white walls and a window, and try to get as many different looking pictures as possible.

I might share them here if you like.mshafikhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09178862453786826299noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2361251099864607419.post-45858537654383572052013-12-25T02:18:15.347-08:002013-12-25T02:18:15.347-08:00super like ...mash2allah ...super like ...mash2allah ...Ramy Kandeelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15224743301443474593noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2361251099864607419.post-17321182736367193882013-12-24T13:19:02.109-08:002013-12-24T13:19:02.109-08:00Terrific post, Mohammad. I've recently begun experimenting with the Speedlight on my Nikon and it is certainly changing the way I'm shooting some things but I also have a lot to learn. This post is very helpful.

btw - I find both the 45 and 75 as used here to be quite acceptable.Davehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06870516640349332182noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2361251099864607419.post-74716111312969179902013-12-24T09:29:00.321-08:002013-12-24T09:29:00.321-08:00Thanks Bruno, let us hear all about how it works o...Thanks Bruno, let us hear all about how it works out for you.mshafikhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09178862453786826299noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2361251099864607419.post-21759853456585246342013-12-24T09:28:26.655-08:002013-12-24T09:28:26.655-08:00Thanks Mic, glad you enjoyed it. However, I don't see the 75 as distant, in fact, the 25 gives the most feeling of distance.
I believe the expression difference is the main reason behind the distant feeling. If I had more time with my daughter (she had to go to sleep), I might have gotten a better expression with the 75.mshafikhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09178862453786826299noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2361251099864607419.post-3469320421722630122013-12-23T16:51:11.103-08:002013-12-23T16:51:11.103-08:00Great post.

I like the setup you used. The fill from the white reflector created a natural-looking fill ratio.

As for the 25 vs. 45 vs. 75, I personally Iike the 45. The 75 is a little distant, though if I were trying to create a cinematic look I think it is the one that I would choose.

Thanks again!

Best regards,
Mic360 Rumorshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01173469932778454315noreply@blogger.com
